Storm Imogen arrived with its 90 mph winds and heavy rain its been difficult to even stand up in the yard so all the horses are kept in but have the luxury of the indoor school to stretch out and have a good roll.
Hay on tap and regular checks from me throughout the day . This winter has been challenging with the wet weather luckily for us with two dry surface facilities to turn out the horses get their daily exercise are able to get out of the stables and have hay on tap. No mud fever for us and plenty of grass in the paddocks when the weather becomes fine again for turnout.
The farm is busy with ewes coming in for lambing so plenty of passing traffic to keep them stimulated and amused.
Looking forward to spring but I think we have some winter to come yet.
